The first is from a newspaper in Georgia:

In this county on Thursday the 6th inst. Mrs. Mary
Willet, consort of Jedediah Willet, aged 63 years.
Mrs. Willet was a native of Rhode Island, a member
of the Baptist Church. She died strong in the faith
with assurance of a blessed immortality beyond the
grave.

The second is from a newspaper in Boston, Massachusetts:
December 10, 1834, Columbian Centinel, Boston Mass., from GenealogyBank.com |
Combining information from these death notices (which correlates with other information I have about Mary) tells me that she was born in Rhode Island to Lodowick Stanton (who later in life lived in Pittsfield, Massachusetts). She was wife of Jedediah (misspelled in the Boston notice), and was formerly of New York. She died in Bibb County, Georgia, likely in Macon, on the 6th of November 1834, at the age of 63.On the 6th inst., at Macon, Ga., Mrs. Mary Wil-
lett, aged 63, wife of Jediah Willett, (formerly of
New York) and daughter of Lodowick Stanton,
Esq, of Pittsfield, Mass.
Interestingly, her father, Lodowick Stanton, died five years earlier, but must have been well enough known in Boston that he was mentioned in his daughter's death notice.
