Wordless Wednesday ~ 4 Generation Snapshot

Great grandmother Marguerite (Lysle) Hunter (1876-1967), my mother, grandmother Helen (Hunter) Copeland (1907-1990), and me at about nine months old.

Wordless Wednesday is a daily blogging prompt from Geneabloggers, the genealogy community's resource for blogging. It is used by many genealogy bloggers to help them tell stories of their ancestors.

  1. Elizabeth, this is awesome. How nice to have cpatured four generations of women in your family in a single photo!

  2. Karen - thanks for the comment. Yes, I love this picture, although I wish it were clearer. When my oldest son was born, his great grandmother (on my husband's side) was still living and I insisted on taking a four generation photo. I'm so glad I did, as she died about a year and a half later.

  3. I love these four-generation photos, too! I will have to unpack a bit more & find that photo. Most of what I haven't packed is my framed photos!
